Partner compatibility
My partner nicole is an ENFJ and I am an ENTJ. The personalitiy of an ENTJ is one that makes palns and tends to direct. These plans happen to be realistic and practical. They are decisive and tend to avoid conflict. They may be very argumentative and is not one to be argued with. ENFJ's are extremely charismatic. ENFJ's follow their dreams no matter how practical it is. ENFJ's are very good interpersonal people. They are quick to neglect their own needs for the needs of others. ENFJ's are not always decisive in their decisions. With these facts, our relationship is strong in that one is very practical while the other is idealistic. Also, one has a loving personalitiy, ideal for children and parenting. A weakness would be that I tend to avoid conflict while she may want to talk it out.
Obituary
Dad loved being around people. He greatly enjoyed conversation and relating with people that he intimately knew and just met. He never put material possessions or dreams get in the way of helping people. Many people would say that he was a good friend. Others would say that he was a great adviser or counselor. His family members would say that he was a great husband, father, and grandfather. All these great compliments were results of his undying love for humanity.
Even his job dealt with helping others. As a doctor, he was never driven by wealth or profit. Instead, he was driven by healing others to the best of his abilities. He was always a doctor who cared about his patients and not just his patients' money.
Most of all, he loved God. His undying passion for Christianity brought many to accept the truth of the gospel. He was very active in church and in the community. Always sharing his faith, he tried to be like Jesus every single day. He helped the poor and cared for them.
His life is celebrated by the many lives that he touched.

The woman my parents want me to marry
My mom would like me to marry a Korean so she could relate with her better. My mom would also like for me to be happy in my marriage. She said marriages could make or break someone’s life. My mom said that she wants grandchildren so she wants my future spouse to want children. The most important thing to her is that the woman is a Seventh Day Adventist. My dad would like me to also marry a Korean but he is more accepting of other races. My dad wants me to marry someone who is also Seventh Day Adventist because faith is very important to him. He also said to marry someone who could be a good mother to my kids. My dad told me that out of marriage you should be happier instead of regretful.
What I look for in a woman
What I must have in a woman is someone who is outgoing and can hold a conversation. I must have a woman who is Christian. The woman must plan to have children. I must have a woman who is fun to be around. I should be able to have a good time when I am with her. I must have a woman who is family oriented and whose family and my family accept one another. What I wish for is a woman who is Seventh Day Adventist. I wish that the woman is very beautiful. I want a woman that likes to snowboard and play sports. I wish the woman is very good at cooking. I wish the woman I marry is intelligent and wise. I want the woman to be funny. I wish that the woman is Asian. I cannot have a woman who is atheist. I cannot have a woman who is high maintenance. I cannot have a woman who is ditsy or an airhead.
Parents' advice on money
My parents cannot stress that saving is the key to best managing money. My dad says to put aside 5-10% of your paycheck into a savings account or retirement account. He says that you never know when you might be laid off or some illness comes over you. My mom says to be wary of expensive purchases such as nice cars or nice homes. They said that it is not bad to buy an expensive car or nice home, but not at the expense of other important necessities.
They also said to be careful in the purchases I make. Even simple purchases such as clothes can leave me with no money. Also, my parents say that always pay in cash if you can. Only use credit cards for when you have no cash, online purchases, or big purchases. They believe that simple purchases such as grocery or food should never be charged onto a credit card. My dad also stressed that no matter how thin your paycheck may get, always give back 10% for tithe.

This I Promise You - Nsync Analysis
I chose the song “This I Promise You” by Nsync. This song portrays some eros love because the guy wants to hold her in the opening lines of the chorus. Also it suggests that this is also agape love for it is also about friendship and commitment. God would not want me in this type of relationship because this love is some eros but not much. This love is more of about commitment, friendship and trust. What makes me feel uncomfortable is the ideal message of love and promise. Love in real life usually isn’t as easy as just a promise even though it is almost that simple. It almost never happens that simply. Only God’s love is that simple. There are no sexual innuendos that make me uncomfortable because there are hardly any. The only sexual innuendo is the guy wanting to hold the girl. This message can establish the type of family because this song is about a promise and trust. I want to incorporate trust within my family. This song is irrational because it says that “without you in my life baby, I just wouldn’t be livin’ at all.” It also says that “ I’ve loved you forever” which is impossible. Yes this does give a person meaning that he or she is valuable because the song talks about the person being worth the promise to be with him or her. The opening lines of the chorus are “And I will take you in my arms.” This is a sexual innuendo. If I heard this I would be touched because the person is saying that I am special for him or her to keep a promise for. This song is definitely not one of the songs that my friends are listening to because this is a very old song that is before their times. The music adds to the song because it is very mellow and soft. pJust like the music the lyrics are soft and touching. Now that I have carefully analyzed the message of this song, I wish that someday I can apply to my life by making a promise and commitment to a woman for the rest of my life.
This I Promise You - Nsync
When the visions around you,
Bring tears to your eyes
And all that surround you,
Are secrets and liesI'll be your strength,
I'll give you hope,
Keeping your faith when it's gone
The one you should call,
Was standing here all along..
And I will takeYou in my arms
And hold you right where you belong
Till the day my life is through
This I promise you
This I promise you
I've loved you forever,
In lifetimes before
And I promise you never...
Will you hurt anymoreI give you my word
I give you my heart (give you my heart)
This is a battle we've won
And with this vow,
Forever has now begun...
Just close your eyes (close your eyes)
Each loving day (each loving day)
I know this feeling won't go away (no..)
Till the day my life is through
This I promise you..
This I promise you..
Over and over I fall (over and over I fall)
When I hear you call
Without you in my life babyI just wouldn't be living at all...
And I will take (I will take you in my arms)
You in my arms
And hold you right where you belong (right where you belong)
Till the day my life is through
This I promise you baby
Just close your eyes
Each loving day (each loving day)
I know this feeling won't go away (no..)
Every word I say is true
This I promise you
Every word I say is true
This I promise youOoh,
I promise you...

Why I believe in God
I believe in a loving God who created the universe and strives to interact with His creation. My parents have very strong Christian beliefs and faiths and dragged me to church when I was younger. I have been Adventist from birth because of my parents and had been spoon fed the “Jesus loves you“ message ever since. Now I go to church because of my own decision. I believe in God not because of what I have been told. To me, a life with God is a lot better than a life with Him. Choosing to believe in a higher power that cares for you and wants to interact with you is much better than believing that the human race was accidental. I choose to believe in God because I believe in hope and everlasting life rather than inevitable death. I know in this world that bad things happen to people. People die and relationships end but there is only one constant in life to those who believe in God. I know that there is hope for the future that in the end God will restore the world as he first intended it to. When people die, I would much rather believe that I will see them in heaven rather than their remains will decompose and become part of the soil in some time. There is also a reason that many people have sacrificed their lives to spread the message that there is a God. God has the power to transform lives. He helps believers realize that they cannot control what happens to them because bad things will happen. The only thing they can control is their outlook on life. Even if God was not real or didn’t exist, I would much rather live a life believing in a lie and living with hope than live in the truth and live with mortal destiny.

Parent's Philosophy
Mom’s Philosophy
My mom believes that in life you should be content. She believes that you cannot always be happy because of what may happen to you. She says that you can be content even when bad things that you cannot control happen to you, by having a positive attitude about it. She also believes that in order to be truly content, you have to be strong in your Christian faith. She believes that Jesus will transform your life so that you will be a content person. She believes that without Jesus, you are never content with your life because you want more money, fame, and glory. However, with Jesus you are never content with how much you are giving to others. She also believes that with hard work comes success. She says that in order to get any good result you have to pay time and effort. However, without hard work, everything is a dream and not reality.
Dad’s Philosophy
My dad’s philosophy is that in order to live a good life you need a good and healthy marriage. He says that no matter how rich or famous you are, if you are in a bad marriage, your life will be miserable. He also believes that everyone should have a couple good friends. My dad believes that those friends in the end will help you when you really need it. When my grandfather died back in Korea, all my dad had to do was call his friend living there to be with the family until he could find a flight there. Last but not least, my dad believes that Christianity is the answer to all of life’s problems. He, like my mom, believes that bad things will happen to you. Those who believe in Jesus will see the greater hope, but those who are not will see nothing but despair.

My Philosophy
In all that I do in life, I try to be happy. I rarely encounter a situation that is out of my hands in which I am stressed out because of the philosophy I have in life. I choose not to worry too much knowing that things will work out. I do not like to worry about problems that I have no control over knowing that no matter what, my outlook is irrelevant to the actual result.
My philosophy is to live a carefree life. I do not like letting the highs get too high and the lows get too low. In all that I do I try to enjoy myself because I realize that bad things will happen that you have no control over, but your attitude toward things changes your mood. You determine whether you are content or miserable depending on your attitude in life. Therefore, even when bad things happen, I try to look for the light at the end of the tunnel and have a positive outlook even though present conditions may look very bleak and dark. Although I life a carefree life, it doesn’t mean that I live a careless life.
There are important aspects of my life that I strive for. My outlook on life is that you should strive to succeed in anything and shouldn’t settle for a mediocre result. Also, I find that I find that relationships with people are the most important things in life. Relationships with family and friends help you to enjoy life even further by creating lasting memories to share and cherish with other. I find that people who are charismatic and have many good friends and family seem to be happier and more content with their lives than those who lack such quality relationships. Therefore, I spend much of my time with my friends and family.
